Design: Staying true to the tranquil fluid motion of water and its reflection Undercurrent examines aqueous characteristics and works to illustrate them in metal. Referencing ceramic sculpture Undercurrent utilizes perforated layers to produce a complex transparent form.

 

Construction: Line studies and metal forming were used to create a tubular form of undulating layers of copper sheet that flows and interact around the neck.
